Mastering Gmail Filters: Show UNREAD messages only

If you’re like me I keep all my important messages that I need to get back to as UNREAD. And then, they get lost in the abyss that is my INBOX. Doh!

The quickest way to get Gmail to show only your UNREAD messages is to use the label filter

label:unread

Nothing to it. :D
