Fujifilm X-T4 Aperture won't change with lens aperture ring in Movie Mode

You probably have the "movie optimized control" set to ON.

To turn it off go to movie setting —>movie optimized control —> OFF

When this setting is ON it disables the ISO/shutterspeed/aperture dials so it won't be set by your still settings when you switch to movie.
